Job summary

City of Hope in Duarte, CA seeks a Senior Director, Philanthropy Patient Liaison Program to lead a high-visibility, donor-centered program. You will partner with clinical and philanthropic leaders to ensure exceptional experiences for major donors and families.

The role oversees operations, navigation teams, dashboards, and metrics, drives strategic initiatives, and builds strong collaborations across sites to align workflows with enterprise standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field.
• 5+ years in a hospital/healthcare setting with patient care operations exposure.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a customer-service environment.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with physicians, donors, patients, and executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Philanthropy Patient Liaison Program across sites.
• Serve as a liaison between the Office of Philanthropy, clinical teams, physicians, and site leadership.
• Develop and coach the PPLP Navigation team and oversee operations.
• Steward current and prospective donors; document HIPAA-compliant interactions.
• Coordinate patient and family navigation services and ensure excellent experiences.
• Oversee Asana tracking, KPI dashboards, reporting, and operational metrics.
• Provide strategic insights to philanthropy leadership on engagement trends and growth.
• Manage day-to-day site operations and align local workflows with enterprise standards.
• Allocate departmental resources and ensure efficient execution of objectives.
• Represent City of Hope with professionalism while supporting special projects.
