Job summary

The University of Wisconsin–Madison is seeking an Associate Director of Parking Operations within the Division of Facilities Planning & Management. The role oversees Field Services and Booths/Dispatch, drives department initiatives, and supports campus projects such as the EV charging program with 24/7 dispatch coverage for campus and hospital garage operations.

Qualifications

• Five years of demonstrated experience supervising and developing staff.
• Five years leading administrative, operational, or financial programs of comparable scope and complexity.
• Experience managing budgets and financial operations with data-informed decision-making

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise two or more managers and provide operational leadership across all shifts.
• Lead talent management efforts including staffing, development, performance management and succession planning.
• Manage and support department initiatives and service contracts including vendor coordination and contract compliance.
• Coordinate and integrate parking operations into campus plans and directions.
• Ensure compliance with statutes, Board directions, and university strategies.
• Recommend parking initiatives and policy changes to meet campus needs and customer requirements.
• Manage budgets for units to ensure solvency and funded improvements.
• Establish communications with departments and campus groups to coordinate access programs and maintenance activities.
