Job summary

The University of Massachusetts Amherst seeks a Director of Parking Services to provide strategic leadership for its comprehensive parking program in Amherst, MA. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in parking or transportation management, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Class D Driver's License.
• Experience with budget development, financial analysis, and revenue management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with parking technologies, data systems, and customer service platforms.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for parking operations, customer service, enforcement, and infrastructure planning.
• Oversee budgeting, revenue, capital planning, and financial reporting.
• Lead diverse team of staff and students; recruit, train, and evaluate performance.
• Direct maintenance and capital improvements of parking facilities.
• Coordinate with facilities and vendors on projects and technology systems.
• Represent the University in public forums and with external stakeholders.
