Job summary

Darkroom, a leading growth marketing firm, is hiring an Associate Director, Paid Search to own the strategy across a portfolio of high-growth US brands. You will lead a team, manage senior client relationships, and drive measurable revenue outcomes through Google, YouTube, Bing, and AI search platforms.

You will architect plans, monitor KPIs, and partner with analytics and creative teams to optimize campaigns and deliver aggressive growth while maintaining stringent cost controls.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of paid media advertising experience.
• Proven ability to scale Google ad accounts beyond $1M USD/month.
• Executive-level client management skills with CMOs and senior leaders.
• Strong understanding of PPC metrics and attribution.
• Experience leading a team of paid search practitioners.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive overarching paid search strategy across a portfolio of high-growth US brands.
• Present quarterly business reviews and performance forecasts to senior leadership.
• Define team OKRs, capacity planning, and service delivery standards.
• Lead annual and quarterly paid search plans and budgets.
• Oversee campaign architecture, bidding strategies, and testing methodologies.
