Job summary

M&T Bank in Buffalo, NY is seeking a senior leader to own technology governance and analytics. The role drives the governance architecture, OKR discipline, and risk interfaces to ensure coherence and accountability across the division.

It also builds the management intelligence platform and executive scorecards by integrating data from multiple domains. The candidate will lead process improvements, advance automation, and collaborate with senior technology leaders to deliver strategic outcomes

Qualifications

Combined minimum of 13 years of higher education and/or work experience.
At least 4 years in engineering/architecture and 9 years in tech management.
Experience leading multiple teams across different geographies.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Design and evolve the division's governance architecture, including forums, decision rights, and escalation paths.
Run the OKR framework as a governance discipline and connect performance to governance forums.
Own the division's decision rights framework and interface with Technology Risk Management.
Define the MI strategy and build the divisional analytics platform and executive scorecards.
Identify process improvements and leverage automation to scale governance and analytics workflows.
