Job summary

Levelociti is seeking a Senior Director / VP of Solutions Engineering to lead and grow its Pre-Sales / Solutions Engineering practice. This highly visible leadership role requires technical credibility, people leadership, sales partnership, and executive-level client presence.

You will mentor architects and engineers, partner with Sales on strategic opportunities, engage with CIO/CTO/CISO during complex discussions, and help shape the strategy and growth of the organization.

Qualifications

• You came from a technical background before moving into Pre-Sales / Solutions Engineering leadership.
• You've successfully led teams of Solutions Engineers, Solutions Architects, or similar customer-facing technical professionals.
• You have experience within a VAR, MSP, Systems Integrator, OEM, or other technology solutions organization.
• You've remained close enough to the technology to understand complex solutions and credibly engage in high-level technical conversations.
• You're comfortable partnering directly with Sales and engaging with senior-level customers.
• You enjoy developing people, building teams, and creating high-performing technical organizations.
• You're comfortable operating across multiple technology disciplines rather than being focused exclusively on one solution area.
• You enjoy getting in front of customers and your teams and are comfortable traveling as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and continue building a high-performing Solutions Engineering / Pre-Sales organization.
• Coach and mentor Solutions Architects and Engineers while continuing to raise the technical and client-facing capabilities of the team.
• Partner closely with Sales Leadership around strategic accounts, major opportunities, and resource alignment.
• Engage directly with Commercial and Enterprise customers when senior technical leadership is needed.
• Build relationships with CIO, CTO, CISO, and other executive-level technology leaders.
• Help ensure technical solutions align with both customer requirements and broader business outcomes.
• Establish structure, accountability, best practices, and consistency across the Pre-Sales organization.
• Recruit and develop strong technical talent as the organization continues to grow.
• Collaborate across Sales, Engineering, Professional Services, Managed Services, and Executive Leadership.
• Help shape the continued strategy and evolution of the technical organization.
