CVS Health Corporation is seeking an accomplished software engineering leader to drive technical strategy across a multi-team organization, setting architecture standards and elevating engineering excellence.

You will own delivery velocity, embed AI, LLMs, and automation into production systems, partner with executives and health care leaders, and ensure safety, quality, and compliant execution across platforms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience with leadership in large teams.
• Deep experience with distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.
• Proven ownership of AI platforms, including deployment pipelines and RAG.
• Experience transforming monoliths to microservices under business pressure.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical strategy across multi-team engineering org (50-150+ engineers).
• Embed LLMs, generative AI, agentic workflows into the lifecycle.
• Own delivery velocity; accountable for outcomes.
• Partner with executives to translate business strategy into engineering bets.
• Advocate for engineering investments and manage debt.
