Job summary

Easterseals Southern California is seeking a Director of Severe Behavior Services to lead, supervise, and expand ABA programs for individuals with autism and related disorders.

This role oversees clinical supervision of BCBA professionals, conducts assessments, develops treatment plans, and ensures high-quality services while training staff.

Leadership duties include budgeting, quality assurance, collaboration across centers, and staying current with ABA research and best practices.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, or related field.
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral certification.
• Five years overseeing treatment for individuals with severe behavior problems using ABA.
• Five years supervising Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
• Eight years of supervisory experience with children with autism spectrum disorders in a multidisciplinary setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct and evaluate the Severe Behavior Services program.
• Lead team meetings, trainings, and develop permanent work products.
• Provide consultation to clinicians and associates on challenging behavior cases.
• Conduct assessments and oversee documentation and reports.
• Develop resources/trainings on services for severe/complex behavior.
• Monitor budgets and collaborate on billing and HR issues.
