Job summary

RPMGlobal is seeking a Senior Director of Development in Austin to lead annual philanthropy, donor engagement, stewardship, and development operations. You will report to the Chief Development Officer and supervise a Development Operations Manager, shaping strategy and execution across campaigns, events, and donor communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Seven or more years of nonprofit fundraising experience with managerial responsibilities.
• Experience leading annual philanthropy, donor engagement, campaigns, events, or related revenue-generating initiatives.
• Strong fundraising acumen across annual giving, donor stewardship and engagement, campaigns, events, and donor communications.
• Experience using Salesforce or a comparable CRM to support fundraising strategy, donor segmentation, forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and planning for annual philanthropy, donor engagement, and revenue growth.
• Direct annual and special fundraising campaigns, including segmentation, messaging, and follow-up.
• Strengthen donor acquisition, retention, renewal, upgrade, and reactivation strategies.
• Oversee systems and processes for fundraising operations and analytics.
• Partner with leadership to create clear pathways for deeper donor engagement and support.
• Collaborate with Communications to develop donor-facing fundraising communications.
• Supervise staff and develop a high-performing Development team.
