Job summary

Meals on Wheels Central Texas is seeking an experienced Individual Giving & Donor Engagement Manager to drive growth and retention of our individual donors. Working with the Director of Development, you will shape a program that integrates direct mail, digital campaigns, and new tools to engage supporters and recognize gifts.

You will craft compelling communications, upgrade mid-level donors, and develop engagement opportunities such as giving circles and site tours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ nonprofit experience with donor engagement.
• Exceptional writing and storytelling for donor communications.
• Commitment to servant-leadership and excellence.
• Knowledge of donor acquisition, retention, recurring giving, stewardship.
• Strong analytics to interpret donor data and trends.
• Excellent project management and organization.
• Experience with donor databases and Salesforce preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to execute a comprehensive annual giving strategy.
• Create and manage multi-channel fundraising calendar.
• Coordinate campaign logistics, timelines, content development.
• Monitor campaigns and recommend improvements based on donor behavior.
• Identify stories showing mission impact for donor support.
• Ensure fundraising communications adhere to brand standards.
• Develop donor engagement opportunities like giving circles and tours.
• Grow donor giving circles with engagement and stewardship plans.
• Manage donor recognition and timely acknowledgements.
• Partner with Donor Database Coordinator for records and reports.
• Use Salesforce and AI tools to segment donors and report results.
• Leverage data to improve donor retention and lifetime value.
• Assess donor histories to identify upgrade opportunities.
• Track retention and upgrading metrics for growth.
• Contribute to a culture of innovation within Development team.
• Attend on-site and off-site events.
• Stay current on giving best practices with data-driven decisions.
