Job summary

United Way for Greater Austin is seeking a Senior Director of Individual and Organizational Giving to lead every aspect of donor engagement in Central Texas. You will guide campaigns, build major gift portfolios and supervise the giving team to achieve ambitious revenue targets.

Reporting to the Chief Development and Marketing Officer, you will create community programs, events and stewardship strategies that expand donor relationships and support a vibrant, inclusive impact agenda for the

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education required.
• 6+ years of nonprofit fundraising experience.
• 2+ years in major gifts fundraising preferred.
• Experience guiding fundraising teams to success.

Responsibilities

• Lead the individual and corporate giving team, supervising 4 full‑time staff.
• Direct individual and corporate philanthropy and community engagement efforts and manage high ROI portfolios.
• Develop year‑round donor engagement and events for fundraising and donor stewardship.
• Ensure donor recognition and stewardship in partnership with the giving team.
• Develop tools for donor engagement in partnership with Marketing and Communications.
• Lead annual community giving and event campaigns in collaboration with the Marketing and Communications team.
• Track revenue projections and manage a portion of the department budget.
• Provide data and guidance to board members and donor committees to drive involvement.
