Salesforce seeks a transformative security leader to evolve Slack's security posture into an AI-aware work OS. As Senior Director of Security Engineering, you’ll lead a globally distributed security organization and own platform defense, product security, identity, and AI/agent security, partnering across Slack and Salesforce to protect humans and autonomous agents.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of cybersecurity experience across multiple domains (infrastructure, application, incident response, identity, threat intel).
• 8+ years in senior leadership, managing managers and coaching senior leaders.
• Proven track record building and scaling enterprise security programs at SaaS scale.
• Experience in crisis management and incident response across product and enterprise environments.
• Experience leading through organizational change with globally distributed teams.
• Technical depth with ability to switch between board-level strategy and hands-on architecture reviews.
• Related technical degree required.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the end-to-end Slack Security program across Platform Defense, Product Security, Infrastructure Protection, IAM, Vulnerability Management, and Security Incident Response.
• Lead and scale a globally distributed security engineering organization, hiring and developing top talent.
• Serve as Incident Commander for critical security incidents and drive post-incident learning.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance to champion Slack Security and protect users and autonomous AI agents.
• Benchmark Slack's security posture against peers and establish it as a reference program.
• Foster a security culture across the engineering org through training, tooling and incentives.
