Qualifications

• 15+ years of broad cybersecurity experience spanning multiple security domains, with 8+ years in senior leadership.
• Proven track record building and scaling enterprise security programs for SaaS at scale.
• Crisis management and incident response experience across product and enterprise environments.
• Experience leading through organizational change with globally distributed teams.
• Technical depth paired with strategic leadership; ability to operate from boardroom to architecture reviews.
• Experience guiding cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the end-to-end Slack Security program across Platform Defense, Product Security, Infrastructure Protection, IAM, Vulnerability Management, and IR.
• Lead and scale a globally distributed security engineering organization, hiring and developing top talent.
• Serve as Incident Commander for critical security incidents and drive post-incident learning.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance to keep Slack secure for humans and autonomous agents.
• Benchmark Slack's security posture against peers and establish a world-class program.
• Cultivate security culture across the engineering org through training and tooling.
