The Senior Director of Clinical Operations at University of Virginia provides strategic leadership for the Central Practice Group and affiliated ambulatory locations in Charlottesville. Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Seven years of healthcare operations or medical practice management experience.
• Three years of leadership experience managing multiple locations, departments, or teams.
• Professional certification (MGMA, FACMPE, ACHE, or equivalent) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provides operational leadership for ambulatory practices and satellite clinics.
• Partners with physician leaders and administration to meet quality, service, financial, and operational goals.
• Directs and supports clinic managers in daily operations.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, accreditation, and organizational standards.
• Monitors performance metrics and develops action plans to improve productivity and patient access.
• Implements process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Oversees scheduling workflows, patient relations, medical records, and operations support services.
• Collaborates with Human Resources on workforce planning and performance management.
• Works with finance to develop budgets and monitor expenses.
• Supports provider onboarding and integration with leadership teams.
• Escalates operational issues and participates in leadership meetings.
• Prepares operational reports for executive leadership.
• Leads special projects and organizational initiatives.

Educación

Bachelor's degree

Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field
