Job summary

UVA Community Health is seeking a Director of Operations for the UVACH Medical Group – Specialty Care. This role provides operational oversight, leadership, administration and fiscal management for the physician practices within a defined geographic area of UVA CH Medical Group.

Advantageous candidates have experience partnering with Medical Directors, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring policy compliance while transforming care delivery and achieving high clinical and operational

Qualifications

Graduate degree in healthcare administration or related field required.
Bachelor's degree with relevant experience may be considered in lieu of graduate degree.
Five years of leadership experience required.
Three years of healthcare experience required.
Physician practice leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide operational oversight for the UVA Community Health Medical Group physician practices.
Lead and administer operations, optimization, and growth.
Partner with Medical Directors and executive leadership to implement strategic initiatives.
Develop talent and build high-performing teams; hold clinic managers accountable.
Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory standards.
