Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Senior Director of Medical & Scientific Affairs – Specialty Testing to shape vision and lead cross‑functional activities across product development, clinical research, and commercial support.

You will partner with external societies and KOLs, driving innovation for hematology, urinalysis, and related technologies with a patient‑focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Doctorate level requirement (MD, PhD, PharmD, DNP) with minimum 20 years of medical & clinical affairs experience
• Board-certified hematologist
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
• Strong leadership, capable of fostering transparency, collaboration and innovative thinking
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience to set strategic goals and prioritize deliverables
• Experience in health economics, policy, and reimbursement is a plus

Responsibilities

• Steer collaborative efforts between business leaders and research teams to define priorities for product development, regulatory submissions and marketing
• Lead global strategies for health economics, policy, and reimbursement for Beckman solutions
• Build and sustain influential relationships with Key Opinion Leaders to drive scientific exchange
• Translate clinical insights from KOLs into actionable guidance for product development
• Support pre-launch initiatives, commercialization, and life cycle management through education and evidence generation
