Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Injection Molding Business Development Manager for a fully remote role in the U.S. You will drive growth in plastics and medical-device-focused injection molding services, including micromolding and LSR, while leading a sales team and collaborating with engineering.

You will develop market strategies, build key client relationships, manage the sales cycle from plan to close, and deliver forecasts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in plastics industry in a similar role.
• Proven sales and BD track record in injection molding.
• Knowledge of micromolding, thermoplastic, LSR, HCR processes.
• Experience selling to medical device OEMs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business strategies to expand customer base and hit sales targets.
• Identify emerging markets and monitor competition and product trends.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and ensure high service levels.
• Collaborate with engineering to deliver innovative injection molding solutions.
• Drive the sales process from plan to close and forecast outcomes.
• Provide technical support to clients and the sales team.
• Lead the sales team, set goals, monitor performance.
• Prepare revenue/expense reports and forecasts for management.
• Stay updated on injection molding trends and engineering advances.
