Job summary

EAB is seeking an Associate Director, Research Advisory Services to advance education stakeholders through data-driven insights and strategic advisory work. The role involves engagement with university and educational leaders, delivering EAB’s point of view across research terrains, and leading client conversations with senior executives.

The position requires 40-50% travel, with possible base in Washington, DC, Richmond, VA, or remote within the continental United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 5+ years of post-graduate experience, or 4+ years with an advanced degree.
• Experience working with client executives at colleges, universities, school districts, or as a consultant/advisor.
• Strong verbal, written, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to tell a compelling narrative through data visualization, graphics, and slides.
• Excellent relationship-building and collaboration skills with senior-level executives.

Responsibilities

• Terrain mastery across research areas, guiding transformation and donor engagement.
• Diagnose problems and guide decisions; deliver EAB’s perspective via calls, virtual meetings, conferences, and on-site briefings.
• Collaborate with the research customer success team to scale partner delivery and support sales in new client development.
• Generate original insights and content in assigned areas and share market insights with colleagues.
