Job summary

EAB in the United States is seeking a Director, Research and Strategic Advisory Services to design and lead strategic research projects in higher education. You will guide executive-level analyses, synthesize findings into actionable insights, and advise campus leaders on strategy and best practices.

Based in Washington, DC or Richmond, VA with open remote options, you will manage client relationships, coach junior staff, and deliver high‑impact research through roundtables, workshops, webinars,

Qualifications

• 6–8+ years of post‑Bachelor’s work experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• Experience across two of: consulting, university/education strategic planning, long‑term strategy research (≥3 months), primary and secondary research, higher education knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead strategic research projects from conception to completion.
• Provide intellectual leadership and analytical direction through all stages of research.
• Synthesize complex ideas into actionable insights for executive audiences.
• Communicate ideas using persuasive writing, storytelling, and graphics.
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project leads and delivery teams for scalable execution.
