Job summary

EAB (Education Advisory Board) is seeking an Associate Director of Research Advisory Services to work with university and education leaders across the sector. The role emphasizes building expertise, guiding strategic decisions, and delivering insights through diverse formats.

You will collaborate with senior executives, shape research narratives, and support partnerships across education segments. The position includes travel and remote work options within the continental United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of post-graduate, professional experience; or 4+ years with an advanced degree.
• Experience working with client executives at colleges, universities, districts, or schools, or as a consultant/advisor.
• Superior verbal, written, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to create a compelling narrative through data visualization, graphics, and slides.
• Excellent relationship building and collaboration with senior-level executives.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain issue expertise across research terrains, focusing on university leadership needs.
• Engage senior institutional leaders to guide transformation, strategy, and fundraising readiness.
• Deliver EAB’s perspective through phone consultations, virtual meetings, conferences, and on-campus presentations.
• Support partner success by aligning effort across teams and driving adoption of insights.
