Job summary

EAB is seeking an Associate Director, Research and Strategic Advisory Services to design and deliver syndidated research and advisory services for higher education leadership. You will lead projects from concept to delivery, synthesize insights for campus leaders, and guide executive-level strategy with actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of professional experience; or 4+ years with an advanced degree; or bachelor’s with 4+ years and 2+ years in EAB Research.
• Travel up to 10% willingness is required.
• Experience in management or strategy consulting or university/education strategic planning or conducting long-term primary/secondary research or higher education experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead strategic research projects from conception to completion (2–9 months depending on scope).
• Provide intellectual leadership and analytical direction across large research processes.
• Synthesize complex ideas into actionable insights for executive audiences.
• Communicate ideas via persuasive writing, storytelling, and visuals.
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct market-sizing, testing calls, and product design analysis for research and enhancements.
• Collaborate with project leads and delivery teams for scalable, interactive engagement.
• Coach junior researchers and manage workloads.
