Job summary

EAB (Education Advisory Board) is seeking an Associate Director, Research Advisory Services in Washington, D.C. The role prioritizes executive-level advisory work, data-driven insights, and strategic guidance for higher education and K-12 clients.

You will engage with boards, presidents, and senior leaders, delivering recommendations through diverse formats. The position requires market presence, collaboration, and travel to client sites and conferences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of post-graduate experience or 4+ years with an advanced degree.
• Experience working with client executives at colleges, universities, districts, or schools.
• Superior verbal, written, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to create compelling narratives through data visualization and slides.
• Excellent relationship-building and collaboration with senior-level executives.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose partner problems and guide decisions through phone, virtual meetings, and on-site presentations.
• Deliver EAB’s point of view and advice to executives to drive adoption of recommendations.
• Collaborate with research and client success teams to ensure scalable, high-impact delivery.
