Job summary

Madrigal is seeking a Senior Director, Clinical Operations to provide strategic and operational leadership for global Phase I‑IV clinical trials and development programs. You will ensure delivery against timelines, quality, budget, and regulatory requirements while maintaining patient‑centered execution across studies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years in clinical trial operations with 12–15 years in Phase I–IV.
• Experience managing trials in biotech/pharma; first-in-human experience preferred.
• Global regulatory understanding (ICH-GCP, FDA, EMA) and CRO oversight.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across global Phase I‑IV programs.
• Oversee portfolio to ensure studies meet timelines, budgets, and quality.
• Lead trial planning, start-up, execution, and closeout activities.
• Develop operational strategies to accelerate delivery and manage risks.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and CRO/vendor oversight.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to influence study design and execution.
