Job summary

Madrigal Pharmaceuticals is seeking an Executive Director, Operations Lead to oversee clinical trials and programs across the product life cycle. You will lead a capable clinical operations team, manage CRO relationships, budgets and timelines, and ensure regulatory readiness and high standards of data quality.

The role requires a strong track record in global drug development, NDA filings, and collaboration with cross-functional leaders to deliver on strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Nursing Licensure, or Pharmacy. An advanced degree (MS or PharmD) is preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years experience in clinical operations development and strategic planning; leading early to late stage trials.
• Experience across the clinical operations value chain with multi-site, multinational trials.

Responsibilities

• Create, execute, and manage clinical trial processes from planning to close-out.
• Define tactics and manage daily operational activities to meet timelines.
• Provide leadership and guidance of Clinical Operations to ensure quality, timeline, resources and budget goals.
