Job summary

Samsara is seeking a Senior Director, Field Activation to lead our Americas field enablement efforts and ensure field needs are met by global programs. You will shape strategy, drive adoption, and align execution with business outcomes while partnering with sales leadership across regions.

The role is remote for US residents, reports to the VP of Field Enablement, and requires a track record of building enablement capability at scale in a high-growth tech environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in sales, including 7+ years in quota-carrying roles.
• Experience leading field-facing enablement or sales operations teams.
• Proven track record driving program adoption across distributed sales org.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to align field needs with global programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication, able to influence senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Americas Field Activation & Execution team and define strategy.
• Drive adoption of global skill programs across the field (≈70%).
• Manage quarterly enablement & leadership team connects with sales leadership.
• Provide structured feedback to global program teams to tailor field programs.
• Coach and develop field enablement managers; build depth and bench strength.
