Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is a global consulting firm. The Senior Director in Transaction Advisory/Financial Due Diligence will lead complex buy‑side and sell‑side due diligence engagements across industries, working with private equity and corporate clients.

The role requires a deep accounting background, client leadership, and the ability to drive value through the investment lifecycle. Base salary is competitive with a discretionary bonus program and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting or related major.
• CPA or in process of obtaining CPA.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting and purchase accounting.
• High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to articulate to senior management, clients and colleagues.
• Strong project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Counsel and mentor all levels of employees.
• Lead conversations with clients and lenders.
• Manage multiple engagements and prioritize responsibilities.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure client needs are met.
• Identify transaction risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Lead the due-diligence reports, QOE, P&L and working capital analyses.
