Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal, a global consulting firm, is seeking a Director for Transaction Advisory / Financial Due Diligence. The role is based in multiple U.S. cities including Boston and focuses on buy-side and sell-side due diligence for private-equity and corporate clients.

You will mentor teams, lead engagements with clients and lenders, and deliver integrated due-diligence reports while identifying transaction risks and cross-selling services. A competitive base salary is offered.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of financial accounting due diligence experience at a top firm.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and purchase accounting.
• High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Associates, Senior Associates and Managers.
• Oversee deals and manage client and lender conversations.
• Identify transaction risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Deliver full due diligence reports including QoE, P&L and working capital.
• Cross-sell TAG and other A&M services to clients.
