Job summary

The Y in Central Maryland seeks an Associate Executive Director of Child & Family Services to lead Head Start and Early Head Start families toward goals, overseeing a large family-services team ensuring compassionate, coordinated support.

Lead program initiatives, build strong partnerships, and ensure compliance with Head Start standards while guiding data-driven improvements across program locations and services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum five years in family services or related programs.
• Three years of leadership supervising managers or multi-layered teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Family Services Directors and the family-services team.
• Oversee eligibility, enrollment, and attendance processes.
• Monitor program outcomes and family engagement.
• Build partnerships with schools and community organizations.
• Coordinate disability, mental-health, and transition services.
• Ensure compliance with Head Start standards and applicable requirements.
• Represent the Y in community collaborations and support program locations.
