Job summary

GSK’s R&D Digital & Tech (RDM DT) organization leads the delivery of medicines and vaccines by leveraging technology, data, and AI. You will be the accountable leader for digital delivery of multiple large programs, including a migration to a unified cloud capability, across a 12–18 month horizon.

The role focuses on governance, budget, and value delivery with senior leaders. This enterprise transformation role emphasizes outcomes over hands-on engineering.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in technology program management within a global org.
• Proven track record leading large-scale enterprise transformations (cloud migrations, digital programs).
• Own end-to-end program outcomes including governance, risk, and dependencies.
• Experience presenting to executive stakeholders (CIOs, exec committees).
• Experience in program financial management: budgeting, funding, spend tracking.
• Vendor management: selecting providers, contracts, governance.
• Knowledge of cloud transformation concepts; ability to challenge vendors.
• Understanding AI and automation in large-scale technology delivery.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to define program outcomes and value.
• Provide governance and status reporting to CIOs and execs.
• Define budgets, secure funding, manage spend.
• Establish governance, decision rights and reporting cadence.
• Manage cross-functional risks and dependencies.
• Build the project team and staffing.
• Own major vendor relationships and contracts.
• Ensure delivery on time and in full (OTIF) and budget.
• Champion AI-enabled delivery and automation.
• Ensure compliance by design and information security.
• Promote GSK culture and attract talent.
• Foster AI-driven, connected teams.
