Guidehouse is seeking an Employee Relations Consultant Leader to guide a team delivering strategic, risk-informed ER support to business leaders, managers, and HR partners. The role ensures consistent, high-quality guidance on performance concerns, misconduct, policy interpretation, restructuring, and workplace issues across the organization.

The leader reports to the Director of Employee Relations and partners with HR Business Partners, Employment Counsel, Ethics & Compliance, and a centralized

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field required.
• 10+ years of HR experience with employee relations.
• Experience leading ER teams in global, matrixed orgs.
• Strong knowledge of federal/state EEO laws.
• Proven ability to advise on performance, misconduct, and terminations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of Employee Relations Consultants.
• Set expectations for performance, documentation, and risk management.
• Provide direction on sensitive or high-risk ER matters.
• Partner with Investigations, Legal, and HR Ops for policy and process alignment.
• Support organizational restructuring and change management.
• Stay current on employment laws and ensure policy compliance.
