Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking an Employee Relations Consultant to join our Workplace Relations team. You will provide expert guidance on a broad range of employment matters, manage disputes, and ensure fairness, consistency and legal compliance within a centralized model.

You will partner with leaders across segments to drive risk mitigation, policy adherence, and a constructive work environment. This role emphasizes proactive engagement, data-driven insights, and collaboration with HR and legal

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years of HR experience.
• Extensive experience in employee relations handling complex issues in both exempt and non-exempt environments.
• Knowledge of federal and state EEO laws and state HR policies.
• Experience training management on conflict resolution and interpersonal issues.
• Experience counseling managers on best practices for conflict, performance, and misconduct.
• Proven ability to work independently and communicate critical issues clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation on risk mitigation to HR COEs and leaders.
• Manage the employee grievance process from initiation to closure.
• Counsel executives and people managers on employment issues such as hiring, performance, leaves, discipline, and terminations.
• Liaise with LOA administrators and Ethics & Compliance teams on escalated issues.
• Analyze case data to identify trends and inform decision-making.
• Deliver training to enhance effective management practices and a positive work environment.
