EAB in Richmond, VA is seeking a Senior Director of Digital Fundraising Strategy to partner with business development and serve as the subject-matter expert in digital fundraising and Advancement marketing.

You will translate fundraising priorities into differentiated digital engagement strategies, lead discovery sessions, and collaborate with analytics, creative, and delivery teams to shape differentiated solutions for partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 8-10+ years in digital marketing, fundraising strategy, or related field.
• 3+ years advising higher education Advancement organizations.
• Translate priorities into integrated digital engagement and fundraising strategies.
• Strong knowledge of digital fundraising and paid media across channels.
• Excellent executive communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically ~15-20%.
• Ability to lead across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic digital fundraising advisor to business development teams.
• Serve as subject-matter expert in digital fundraising and donor engagement for higher education.
• Translate goals and audience needs into differentiated digital marketing recommendations.
• Participate in discovery, proposals, and executive presentations.
• Use market research and campaign data to develop strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate with analytics, creative, and strategy teams to ensure feasible solutions.
• Advise on digital fundraising strategies balancing goals, budget, and timing.
• Advise on capital and comprehensive campaign objectives and communications.
• Recommend integrated digital marketing across paid search, social, display, video, and landing pages.
• Provide guidance on messaging, audience segmentation, and donor journeys.
• Develop digital engagement strategies connecting stories with giving opportunities.
• Document strategies for successful implementation by delivery teams.
• Be the connector across teams to ensure differentiated, feasible solutions.
• Equip sales teams with language and tools to communicate value.
• Create training, case studies, and frameworks for internal understanding.
• Define and evolve EAB's digital fundraising and campaign strategy.
