Job summary

Travelport LP is seeking a Senior Director of Software Engineering to drive platform engineering strategy, tooling, and delivery capabilities across the organization. You will lead multiple teams focused on internal developer platforms, automation, and improved developer productivity in a remote US setting.

You’ll partner with Product, Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, and Engineering leadership to set standards, govern practices, and accelerate modern software delivery with DevSecOps,

Qualifications

• 15+ years of software engineering experience with at least 7+ years leading managers and multiple teams.
• Proven experience driving large-scale engineering transformation initiatives and organizational change.
• Strong background in cloud-native architectures, CI/CD, DevOps, and platform engineering.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the long-term vision for platform engineering, developer experience, and software delivery excellence.
• Lead multiple teams responsible for internal developer platforms, automation, tooling, and delivery enablement.
• Establish standards, governance, and best practices to improve scalability, reliability, security, and velocity.
