Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Director to lead the Pipeline team within the Developer Productivity organization. You will unify developer tooling with platform excellence, shaping a scalable, secure and AI-native software delivery platform for our engineers.

The role requires strong leadership across distributed teams, deep cloud and infrastructure expertise, and a track record of delivering large-scale CI/CD & release systems.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
• Experience leading managers and teams in distributed orgs
• Experience with CI/CD, release or developer infrastructure platforms
• Strong judgment on product experience and platform architecture
• Cloud infrastructure and IaC; Kubernetes and AWS experience
• Familiarity with telemetry, metrics, analytics to improve productivity and health
• Experience with software supply chain and release concerns
• Ability to define strategy and drive execution in ambiguous environments

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy and operating model for end-to-end software delivery pipeline
• Set portfolio priorities and allocate resources with leadership
• Improve internal engineering experience while raising reliability, security and scalability
• Establish mechanisms to measure developer productivity and system health
• Grow managers and create clear expectations, accountability and career development
• Serve as escalation point for major delivery and platform trade-offs
