Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior program leader to drive execution across DevOps, cloud, and platform engineering initiatives in a regulated enterprise context. You will coordinate IT, engineering, cyber security, and legal to resolve program questions and remove bottlenecks, while replacing manual gates with automated governance to enhance developer productivity.

You will lead tool evaluations, manage vendor relationships, and champion adoption of new tools and practices, ensuring documentation

Qualifications

• 7+ years leading technical programs in DevOps, Cloud, or Platform Engineering.
• BS or MS in an engineering-related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to own complex, multi-team programs end to end with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive program execution.
• Turn priorities into plans and execution.
• Take and run initiatives that improve developers' lives.
• Run the delivery cadence and track work against targets.
• Coordinate multi-team initiatives to land with minimal disruption.
• Drive alignment on shared problems across IT, Engineering, Cyber Security, and Legal.
• Help replace manual gatekeeping with automated governance for developer safety and speed.
• Support vendor relationships and ensure value from tool investments.
• Run tool evaluations and structure pilots for data-driven decisions.
• Drive adoption and change management for new tools and practices.
• Keep developer documentation current and aligned with the recommended build approach.
