Job summary

Experian is seeking a Vice President of Dev Platform Engineering to shape the enterprise developer platform strategy and AI-enabled tooling. You will set standards for CI/CD, cloud platforms, and secure software delivery while guiding adoption of AI-enabled development tools across engineering teams.

You will lead a global organization through senior leaders, managing platform performance, budgets, and priorities to drive faster, safer software delivery.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technology roles.
• 5+ years in senior leadership roles.
• Senior leadership in platform engineering.
• Hands-on depth with CI/CD platforms (Harness and/or GitHub Actions).
• Cloud-native infra in production at scale (major provider).
• Familiar with Claude Code and MCP protocol.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and roadmap for the enterprise developer platform and AI engineering capabilities.
• Define standards for CI/CD, cloud platforms, developer tooling, and secure software delivery.
• Guide adoption of AI-enabled development tools, governance, and reusable AI solutions.
• Partner with engineering, security, cloud, and developer experience teams to deliver a consistent platform.
• Manage a global organization through senior leaders and develop high-performing teams.
• Own platform performance, adoption metrics, budgets, vendor investments, and priorities.
• Establish engineering standards to improve speed, quality, security, and developer experience.
• Evaluate build-versus-buy decisions and drive continuous improvement.
