Job summary

Solventum is seeking a Software Development Manager to lead a team delivering platform tooling, automation, and developer productivity solutions across the Data Fabric ecosystem.

You will own the backlog, drive delivery, and collaborate with engineering, product, infrastructure, and security teams to enhance platform reliability, scalability, and user experience. Remote work with up to 10% travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher and 7+ years in software engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience leading technical teams or engineering initiatives.
• 3+ years of experience with cloud-native applications, APIs, distributed systems, and modern software architecture.
• 3+ years of experience operating within Agile software development methodologies.
• 1+ year of experience with AI-enabled technologies and Generative AI.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of software engineers delivering shared capabilities for platform initiatives.
• Own product backlog and ensure delivery execution with operational excellence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve platform reliability, scalability, and user experience.
• Drive automation and AI-enabled support solutions while aligning with security and regulatory requirements.
• Support cloud-native platform capabilities in regulated environments and enable Data Fabric growth.
