Job summary

Anduril Industries in Washington, DC / Costa Mesa, CA is looking for a Senior Director of Business Development for Precision Engagement Systems. You will lead market assessments, capture opportunities, and connect client needs with internal teams to shape product features.

You will collaborate with engineers, program managers, and governance teams to grow PES capabilities globally. You will drive growth across DoD and allied markets, negotiate terms, and coordinate with strategy and government

Qualifications

• 7+ years in government/private sector biz development, sales capture, or growth/acquisition.
• Proven growth leader with experience shaping and capturing complex DoD/USG programs.
• Knowledge of defense acquisitions and scaling large defense programs.
• Eligible to obtain/maintain active TS security clearance.
• Comfortable in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, creative environment.
• Extremely organized with excellent communication skills.
• Willing to travel up to 50%.
• Commutable distance to Costa Mesa, CA or Washington, DC with on-site as needed.

Responsibilities

• Build PES growth strategy within DOW, DOS, DoD, and international programs to expand Anduril’s capabilities.
• Structure resource planning for Growth; drive favorable contract terms.
• Lead end-to-end capture of major domestic and international opportunities.
• Coordinate with PES teams to shape opportunities and resolve program issues.
• Drive expansion of PES portfolio (Bolt/Anvil) across campaigns.
• Inform PES/TRS Division’s strategic growth and long-range planning.
• Pursue new business opportunities with DoD and other agencies globally.
• Coordinate programmatic funding with Government Relations and Strategy teams.
