Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Senior Director, Capture, to lead multi‑line capture, pursuit and solutioning strategies for the Defense Market. This remote leadership role reports to the VP of Business Development and involves frequent briefings to senior leadership, including Market SVP and E‑Suite.

You will develop capture plans 6+ months before RFPs, shape value propositions, coordinate teaming, drive pricing discussions, and ensure compliant, top‑quality proposals while building strong internal

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• 12 years of relevant professional experience required.
• Experience across the Air Force and Space Force Military Departments and CYBERCOM, with demonstrated experience in technical operational, sales, proposals and capture management.
• Experience with Project Management, systems or business analysis, technical solution architecture, operations/sales/capture management, and creating/executing a go-to-market strategy.
• Must have the ability to travel 25% within the United States.

Responsibilities

• Develop and mature capture strategies in collaboration with business development and operations leads.
• Lead and drive planning and capture activities, ideally, 6+ months prior to RFP release.
• Support short-term captures, as appropriate where opportunities align with the goals and objectives of the market and lead to larger strategic procurements.
• Provide insights, data, and industry experience to business development for shaping opportunities and using competitive analysis to optimize Maximus positioning for success.
• Coordinate the inputs with proposal developers to ensure a compliant and top-quality proposal for delivery to the customer.
