Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Fort Worth, TX, seeks a Senior Director of Customer Logistics to own P&L, drive sales growth, and strengthen customer relationships across a geographic region.

This role leads a leadership team, champions continuous improvement, ensures safety and operational excellence, and partners with senior executives to meet financial targets while advancing strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain or related field or an additional two (2) related experience required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Ten (10) years or more logistics/supply chain experience in multiple locations required.
• Five (5) years or more demonstrated experience developing and implementing complete logistics solutions and project management skills required.
• Five (5) years or more P&L responsibility including forecasting and managing financial targets required.
• Six (6) years or more managing, leading and developing direct reports required.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with senior customer management to drive retention and growth.
• Represent Ryder in customer meetings and presentations to support sales opportunities.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement and manage the operation to meet goals.
• Ensure talent selection, development and retention of team members, including coaching direct reports.
• Forecast, plan, and manage locations to meet defined financial targets and mitigate risks.
• Monitor safety culture and ensure compliance with safety targets.
