Job summary

Popeyes is seeking a senior communications advisor to guide internal, franchisee, and external messaging across 4,000 restaurants in the U.S. and Canada. You will translate business strategy into clear communications for executives and teams, supporting crucial moments and brand narratives.

In this role, you will manage global and local communications programs, advise leaders, and coordinate with Investor Relations, Marketing, Legal, and Operations to protect and advance the Popeyes brand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive communications experience, preferably within the restaurant, retail, hospitality or consumer industries.
• Experience supporting senior executives and developing executive communications for high-visibility business moments.
• Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary communications advisor to the Popeyes President and Executive Leadership Team, shaping messaging and priorities.
• Develop executive communications for high-profile moments, earnings support, and organizational announcements.
• Partner with Investor Relations and senior leadership to align messaging with brand positioning.
• Lead crisis communications planning and response to protect the Popeyes brand and minimize risk.
