Job summary

Accenture Construct in Philadelphia seeks a senior seller-doer to lead major rail and transit programs and drive targeted business development across the Greater Philadelphia region. You will provide executive leadership across the full project lifecycle—from pre-construction through testing, commissioning and closeout—while building agency relationships and guiding proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 15 years of progressively responsible experience delivering major rail or transit projects.
• Active Professional Engineer license required.
• Demonstrated experience in business development, capture management, or client relationship development in public transit or transportation consulting.
• Experience with major programs in the Northeast Corridor is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead senior seller-doer role, directing major rail and transit programs and targeted business development across Greater Philadelphia and the Northeast Corridor.
• Provide executive leadership across the full project lifecycle: pre-construction, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and closeout.
• Lead capture efforts for PMC, construction management, and Owner’s Representative opportunities; build agency relationships and lead proposals and interviews.
• Oversee multiple design-build and alternative delivery contracts, managing scope, schedule, budget, risk, change, and contractual requirements.
• Serve as senior client advisor and primary liaison across executive leadership, project controls, legal, regulatory agencies, utilities, and stakeholders.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across construction management, design support, safety, quality, environmental compliance, and stakeholder coordination.
• Establish project governance, reporting, and performance controls to surface risks and ensure compliance with rail and FTA/FRA requirements.
• Strengthen Accenture’s market presence by developing senior relationships with SEPTA, Amtrak, NJ Transit, PATCO/DRPA, PennDOT, and others.
