Job summary

New York City Department of Education’s Office of Student Enrollment seeks a Senior Director of Community Outreach to lead citywide outreach and equity initiatives across 2-K to Pre-K and K admissions. You will supervise teams, develop research, and partner with stakeholders to improve participation in NYCPS enrollment.

Reporting to the Executive Director, Customer Service Strategy, this role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and the ability to translate data into policy using

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public administration, education administration, or related field with four years of relevant experience.
• Administrative/managerial experience preferred; 18+ months in exec capacity.
• Leadership experience in a large organization is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead citywide outreach strategies for 2-K to Kindergarten admissions.
• Oversee outreach programs, events, partnerships, and digital campaigns.
• Supervise staff and consultants; manage contracts and performance metrics.
• Develop research agendas to improve access and reduce disparities in participation.]
