NYC Public Schools is seeking a Borough Outreach professional to manage communications with families and schools about admissions, enrollment, and deadlines. You will organize and host events with community partners, support enrollment activities, and analyze outreach metrics to improve engagement across NYC’s five boroughs.

Formación

• A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or related activities.
• High school graduation or equivalent with six years of related experience.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience are acceptable with at least one year of the required experience.

Responsabilidades

• Communicates with families, schools and community-based organizations to inform them of NYCPS admissions, enrollment processes, and deadlines.
• Organizes and hosts events in partnership with community stakeholders to disseminate admissions and enrollment information.
• Supports outreach events, workshops, enrollment fairs, and information sessions across New York City.
• Builds and maintains relationships with stakeholders to improve outreach efforts for families and students.
• Acts as liaison to NYCPS program initiatives to provide enrollment outreach and general programmatic support.
• Assists families with information on NYCPS applications, registration and enrollment processes.
• Recruits and trains volunteers and community groups for outreach.
• Works with school staff to resolve recruitment and enrollment issues; escalations directed to appropriate NYCPS entities.
• Performs data maintenance and reporting; issues daily reports for metrics and data tracking; supports CRM and outreach campaigns.
