Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national Commercial P&C operations, drive workflow standardization, and partner with leadership to execute strategic initiatives. The role emphasizes optimizing service delivery, scalability, and profitability across a large brokerage network.

The ideal candidate will have 5–7+ years of leadership in Commercial Lines, a current P&C license, and CPCU/CIC designation preferred, with hands-on EPIC experience and strong

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent) strongly preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience in a large insurance brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
• Applied EPIC experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines initiatives to strengthen operations and service delivery.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions to improve efficiency and client outcomes.
• Standardize workflows, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvements to increase productivity and reduce variation.
• Support M&A integration through operational assessments and workflow alignment.
• Collaborate with producers, operations teams, and leadership to drive strategic initiatives.
