Insurance Office of America seeks a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to lead national Commercial P&C operations, partnering with senior leadership to drive workflow standardization and scalability. The role supports producers, account teams, and operations to deliver exceptional client service and shareholder value.

The ideal candidate has 5–7+ years in commercial lines leadership within a large brokerage, active P&C license, and CPCU/CIC designation or equivalent, with EPIC experience and strong

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent) preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership in a large brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing sustainable improvements.
• Strong workforce planning and capacity modeling experience.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Commercial Lines Strategy: Develop and execute initiatives that strengthen Commercial Lines operations and performance.
• Operational Excellence: Identify challenges and implement scalable solutions for efficiency and quality.
• Workflow Standardization: Establish standardized Commercial Lines workflows and best practices.
• Process Optimization: Lead initiatives to increase productivity and reduce variation.
• Root Cause Analysis: Evaluate issues and implement corrective actions for sustainable improvements.
• Workforce Planning: Analyze staffing and capacity to support growth and excellence.
• M&A Integration Support: Assist with integration planning and workflow alignment.
• Systems & Technology Optimization: Promote EPIC usage and relevant tools for better performance.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with producers, operations, and leadership to drive initiatives.
