Job summary

Wiley Research seeks a Senior Director of Business Analytics to define the analytics agenda and translate data into strategic insights. You’ll shape commercial analytics, oversee KPI standardization, and drive investment decisions across geographies and product lines.

You will partner with Finance and senior leadership to ensure trusted, audit-ready insights and a data-driven culture that supports rapid, informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive experience in commercial analytics, business analytics, strategy, or business intelligence.
• Proven track record leading or building a commercial analytics function with KPI frameworks and executive dashboards.
• Ability to influence senior leadership and translate data into strategic recommendations.
• Experience partnering with Finance on revenue reporting, forecasting, and business performance.
• Experience navigating distributed data ownership across functions in a global enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the analytics strategy for Wiley Research, aligning with EVP and GM priorities.
• Develop KPI framework and dashboards giving real-time view of commercial health across regions and products.
• Drive data governance and a single source of truth for Research analytics with audit-ready outputs.
• Partner with Finance, Publishing, Marketing, Sales, and Strategy to surface cross-functional insights.
• Mentor analytics talent and promote evidence-based decision-making across Research leadership.
