Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive experience in commercial analytics, business analytics, strategy, or BI with a record of building decision-support functions.
• Experience leading or building a commercial analytics function with KPI frameworks and executive dashboards.
• Ability to translate analytical output into strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
• Experience navigating distributed data ownership and driving governance improvements.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the analytics strategy for Wiley Research, aligning with EVP priorities.
• Deliver advanced commercial analysis to identify growth, retention risks, and underperformance.
• Build a credible analytics function: recruit, develop, and activate staff as needed.
• Lead development of competitive intelligence and market analysis using external and internal data.
• Translate complex findings into clear narratives for senior audiences and the board-level stakeholders.
