The Senior Director, Business Analytics will define the analytics agenda, build and lead a commercial analytics function, and translate data into clear strategic recommendations for Research leadership. This role partners withFinance, Strategy, Marketing, Sales, and Product to standardize metrics, deliver real-time dashboards, and ensure disciplined data practices

Qualifications

• 12+ years of commercial analytics or business intelligence with leadership influence.
• Experience building a commercial analytics function with KPI frameworks and executive dashboards.
• Ability to translate analytics into actionable insights for senior leadership across geographies.
• Strong partnership with Finance and cross-functional teams to align revenue reporting and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the analytics strategy for Wiley Research, aligning with EVP priorities.
• Deliver advanced commercial analysis to identify growth opportunities, risks, and underperformance.
• Develop and maintain executive dashboards and reporting across regions, teams, products, and customer segments.
• Drive data governance and establish a single source of truth for Research commercial data.
• Partner with Finance, Publishing, Marketing, Sales, Product, and Strategy to surface cross-functional insights and drive decisions.
