Job summary

Hirewell is seeking a Senior Director for Platform and Technology Operations to own the infrastructure, reliability, and operational excellence of the organization’s technology stack.

The role ensures cloud operations, data platform infrastructure, security, and internal technical support scale for 200+ Fortune clients, with a lean, high-impact leadership team on-site in Green Bay, WI.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technology operations or infrastructure with leadership experience.
• Track record managing cloud infrastructure at scale (GCP preferred).
• Experience with enterprise compliance frameworks, SOC 2, GDPR, ISO 27001, etc.
• Experience leading client-facing security/compliance conversations with enterprise clients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee infrastructure & cloud operations (GCP), reliability, and scalability.
• Own security & compliance programs, including SOC 2 and data governance.
• Lead internal IT support, vendor mgmt, and cloud cost optimization (FinOps).
• Guide architecture decisions, incident management, and DR/BC planning.
• Mentor leaders, build repeatable processes, and manage cross-functional teams.
• Communicate security/compliance topics clearly to stakeholders and clients.
• Drive continuous improvement and ensure risk is managed across platforms.
